Welcome To Year 1 Computing
In this unit, the children will program a toy to move around a map to find a buried treasure. They will start by thinking of algorithms for their route around the map. The children will then input these algorithms into a Beebot toy. They predict how the robot will move and debug their programs so that they will work.
Below is a website that we have used with the children in school. If you click the image below it will take you to the website. This program acts as a Beebot emulator where the children can click in the instructions for a Beebot.
