Church of England School of the Resurrection. Impact of Sports Premium Spending.

September 2016-March 2017 £8,925 was allocated to the school

To ensure that PE links with other subjects that contribute to pupils’ overall achievement and their greater spiritual, moral, social and cultural skills.

Cyber Coaching software whole school Exercise and Dance £379.50

High quality interactive media system that allows children to enjoy hours of enjoyable exercise.

 

Impact

  • To engage pupils and increase participation rates in exercise throughout the day.
  • To up skill staff and increase confidence in order to provide outstanding PE lessons.

 

School Sports Partnership Annual Membership: £500- (Key Stage 2) Upper/ Lower (Miss Vinter/ Support Staff)

 

  • A full organised programme of competitions/festivals/National School Games
  • CPD for curriculum education attended by the new to role PE Co-ordinator
  • SSP Network meetings attended by the PE Co-ordinator

Impact

  • Support for Leader of PE & Sport through network meetings and access to training. As a result of this the PE Leader has been able to have an overview of the provision in school and audit the resources available. She has audited staff needs and competencies. She is beginning to develop a portfolio of photographs to evidence standards.
  • Children have accessed a range of competitive opportunities with some success.

Transport costs to competitions £495.00

To enable participation football, netball competitions.

Impact

  • Children had the opportunity to work with children from different schools.
  • Experience of competitive sports.
  • Some teams were very successful, in particular the girls’ football team.

M.C.F.C in the Community Foundation £2,500.00

Paco from Manchester City in the community provides lessons for children from year 1-6, in line with the requirements of the National Curriculum. Paco also provides a before, after school and lunch time sports club for children throughout the school.

 

 Sports Equipment Football nets/Netball posts £417.90

Allows the children to participate in competitive sport.
